Here is one of, if not my favorite designer, the incredible Kelly Wearstler. She was introduced to me through a dear friend who is rediculously talented, Hallie Henley, now Hallie Sims!!! Hallie is a one of a kind designer and friend now located in Houston, Texas. I recently attended Hallie’s wedding and I cannot even convey how fabulous it was! Her dress was the most incredible silk with a 40’s flare….and lets not forget those red lips! My friend Katie (Birdie) did the flowers and I was so proud of her. They were truly pieces of art at every table. The reception was complete with fried chicken and macaroni and cheese! So Hallie and so southern! Hallie is one of those people that just inspire you by being around her…by stepping into her world. I was truly inspired by her wedding and wanted to pay tribute to a person who helped me step into my design style….actually she rescued me from fatally decorating my room terribly when we lived together!!! Thanks Halster! And thank you to Kelly Wearstler for always leaving me flabbergasted and inspired to create beautiful spaces. Kelly Wearstler has given the world a little slice of heaven by publishing her work in three wonderful books.
